Egypt and North Africa
Why We Like The Middle East
- The Middle East is an amazing destination, arguably the world's most long-lived travel destinations. The Middle East encompassed some of our world’s greatest civilisations, ancient cities and historic buildings and ruins.
- Karnak is located in Luxor, the capital city of Ancient Egypt during the 11th and 18th dynasties when it was known as Thebes. We visited many historical sites, Karnak was by far the most impressive temple by far.
- Jordan, for many people, begins and ends with the city of Petra. And maybe it's true for some, Petra is, without doubt, one of the Middle East's most spectacular, unmissable sights, on par with Machu Picchu or Angkor Wat for must see 'lost city'
- The Middle East is also home to the ruins of great civilisations and their cities – Petra in Jordan, Ephesus in Turkey, Palmyra in Syria, Baalbek in Lebanon and ancient Egypt’s multitude of cities from millennia past.
Egypt, A country where the ancient history and the west meet, Egypt is a scenic history lesson to be explored not read about. Upper Kingdom temples, Middle Kingdom pyramids, and amazing tombs, Egyptian culture and its monument have evoked the imagination for centuriesFind Trip
